Most people are taught golf in a hurry — a bucket of balls, three tips, the next lesson already waiting. We built this school for the opposite: one coach, a quiet tee, and as many mornings as it takes.
02 The school
Sixty acres, and one way of teaching.
We are a private school, not a club. There is no waiting list for tee times and no membership to buy — only students, their coaches, and grounds kept for practice.
Groups never go above four students per coach. Every session is filmed from two angles, every swing is kept on file, and your coach walks you through the footage before the next lesson. Most students come twice a week; the ones who come early usually have the course to themselves.

03 Programmes
Five ways in.
Every programme includes club rental, range balls and video review. Fees are per student and cover the full length shown.

Foundations
For adults starting from nothing. Grip, stance and a swing you can repeat, finishing with your first full round on the Pines Six.

Junior Academy
After-school and weekend groups of four. Each group keeps the same coach for the whole year, so nobody starts over each term.

Tournament Squad
Training blocks, course strategy and fitness for players who compete. We travel with the squad to national junior and amateur events.

Short Game Studio
Putting, chipping and bunker play — the hundred yards where most strokes go missing. Every stroke is filmed and measured.

Playing Lessons
Nine holes on the Home Nine with your coach beside you: club choice, reading the course, and how to recover from a bad hole.
The gates open at six. Most of our best lessons are over by eight.

04 Coaches
The people on the tee with you.
Three senior coaches lead every programme, supported by four assistant coaches and a visiting strength trainer. You will know your coach by name after the first morning — and they will know your swing.

Founder & head coach
Eleven seasons on the national amateur circuit before he started teaching in 2008. Still takes every new student’s first lesson himself.

Head of the Junior Academy
A former junior national team player. Runs the Junior Academy and our girls’ programme, and writes every junior’s end-of-term report.

Runs the Short Game Studio and the video bay, and plans the Tournament Squad’s training blocks around the competition calendar.

Courses
- The Home Nine
- 9 holes, par 33, 2,610 yards. Bent-grass greens, open to all programme students.
- The Pines Six
- 6 short holes, par 18, 640 yards. Used for juniors and Foundations.
- Short Game Park
- Two putting greens, a chipping green and three practice bunkers.
Equipment
- Club rental
- Full adult sets, junior sets from age 7, and left-handed sets. Included.
- Range balls
- Unlimited during booked sessions. Included.
- Video bay
- Two-camera analysis; your footage stays on file for the length of your programme.

- Tuesday to Friday, 6:30–10:00 and 15:30–19:00

- Saturday and Sunday, 6:30–18:00

- Spring (February–May) and autumn (September–December), with summer intensives in June.
Access & hours
- Grounds
- Tuesday to Friday 6:00–19:30, weekends 6:00–18:30. Closed Mondays for course maintenance.
- Free practice
- Enrolled students may practise outside lessons, 7:00–18:00.
- Facilities
- Free parking, changing rooms with lockers, and a tea room on the terrace.
My daughter joined the Junior Academy at nine and could barely hold a club. Five years on she plays off four — and she is still the one waking us up on Saturday mornings.
